10/31/04 The 2-5 Warriors trailed the 6-1 Braintree Wamps 22-7 in the third quarter. A burst of offensive breaks and resilient defense brought Brookline to only a one point deficit with less than 2 minutes to go. The Brookline Defense rose and crushed the Wamps' attempt to close the game, and blocked the ensuing punt. 3 plays later a 35 yd. Jake Wisel field goal was good for the 24-22 win. Greg Nasif  |
